شاركت الإدارة العامة للتعليم بجدة في معرض جدة الدولي للكتاب بعدة أجنحة تستهدف مختلف شرائح المجتمع و تشمل أركاناً تفاعلية إلى جانب منصة ثقافية وإعلامية ومشاركات ثقافية متنوعة تشمل المسرح والندوات والأمسيات الشعرية وغيرها.
المتحدث الرسمي لتعليم جدة، مدير إدارة الإعلام التربوي الأستاذ حمود الصقيران، أوضح أن مشاركة الإدارة العامة للتعليم بجدة في المعرض كانت مستمرة طيلة الأعوام الماضية فيما يحرص القائمون عليها أن تتنوع وتتطور في كل نسخة للكرنفال والتظاهرة الثقافية الأضخم في المنطقة والتي يترقبها الجميع كل عام، وأضاف الصقيران أن مشاركة تعليم جدة في النسخة الحالية للمعرض حرصت اللجنة المشرفة عليها و بتوجيه ومتابعة من مدير عام التعليم بجدة الدكتور سعد المسعودي متنوعة ومختلفة وملبية لاهتمامات وتطلعات الزوار، مشيرا إلى أنها شملت جناحاً تفاعليا للرجال يحتوي على أركان متعددة ومشاركات تفاعلية مع الجمهور ومن أهمها ركن "جدة تقرأ" وأركان أخرى تهتم بالقراءة والمعرفة والعلوم حيث يقدم هذا الركن من خلال الإدارات والمكاتب للقسم الرجالي، مضيفا أن المشاركة ضمت أيضا جناحاً تفاعلياً آخر يُعنى بالمرأة والطفل يدعم وينمي ملكة القراءة لدى الأطفال وفق الأساليب التربوية والتعليمية الجاذبة كما يقدم الجناح التفاعلي للمرأة الاستشارات اللازمة نحو اختيار الكتب المناسبة لاهتماماتها ولمختلف الأعمار.
وفيما يتعلق بالمنصة الثقافية للإدارة العامة للتعليم بجدة أوضح الصقيران أنه يعرض فيها أبرز منجزات ومخرجات التعليم لتكون منصة ثقافية وإعلامية للقاء المسؤولين والمهتمين بالشأن الثقافي والتعريف بتعليم جدة ومشروعاته وماحققه منسوبوه ومنسوباته من انجازات تربوية وتعليمية وعلمية موضحا أن المشاركات الثقافية في مسرح المعرض ستشتمل على مسرحيات تربوية هادفة وندوات تثقيفية منوعة وأمسيات شعرية .
